Today I'm trying at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if that is "just another clone" or if it could stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig will not be loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there is virtually not enough down throttle - it is robust to hover clean as a result of you're a the very backside finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the power! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs joyful and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "charge" modes, high and low. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for top rates, one other press provides one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes around easily, and speed / tilt / yaw are simple to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still easy to control, but will preserve learners on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will probably want to soar straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only dangerous habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it seems to chop energy typically when I'm descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it almost will not hover, as a result of this.
Battery life
Battery life is nice. I was persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and got a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a side notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So now we have an important flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The major battery plug for the quad was situated in order that it was simple to solder on the camera power lead, so just a few screws later, I used to be able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digital camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was related. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I could fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the camera already had issues from it's automobile obligation days). for certain, though, I will be ordering a new camera.
Summary
I've had plenty of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My youngsters additionally like it - they will add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can elevate a good quantity, however it can run out of power in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically imply crashes - which is nice for learning to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
