Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm wanting at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to ride the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this evaluation, and see if that is "just another clone" or if it will possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is not loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not enough down throttle - it's tough to hover easy as a result of you're a the very bottom end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the ability! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs joyful and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops in the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "price" modes, low and high. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for high rates, another press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes around smoothly, and speed / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to regulate, but will keep novices on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will most probably need to bounce straight to the high charges. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom end, because it appears to cut power typically when I'm descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, resulting from this.

Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half without and bought a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a facet word, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an excellent flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact fit for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The principal battery plug for the quad was positioned so that it was easy to solder on the digicam energy lead, so a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera power wires soldered to the back aspect of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digicam was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died before I could fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the camera already had points from it is automotive responsibility days). for sure, although, I will be ordering a brand new digital camera.
Summary
I have had numerous enjoyable with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My children also prefer it - they will add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can lift an honest quantity, however it will run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically imply crashes - which is nice for learning to fly. Overall I actually favored this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
