Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I am looking on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the highest plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to experience the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this evaluation, and see if that is "simply another clone" or if it will probably stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is just not loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there is almost not sufficient down throttle - it's tough to hover easy as a result of you're a the very bottom end of the throttle range. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the ability! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs comfortable and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "rate" modes, low and high. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for high rates, another press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it moves round smoothly, and velocity / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still easy to control, but will maintain inexperienced persons on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will almost definitely want to bounce straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only dangerous habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, as it seems to cut energy usually when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, on account of this.
Battery life
Battery life is nice. I was persistently getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and got a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is best. As a facet note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an ideal flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The essential battery plug for the quad was located so that it was straightforward to solder on the camera power lead, so a number of screws later, I used to be able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I may fly it various brief flights (the digital camera already had points from it is automotive responsibility days). for positive, although, I will be ordering a new digicam.
Summary
I've had a lot of enjoyable with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of power. My children additionally prefer it - they'll add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can elevate a good quantity, but it is going to run out of energy in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't mechanically imply crashes - which is sweet for studying to fly. Overall I actually appreciated this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
