Today I'm wanting at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this evaluate, and see if this is "simply another clone" or if it might stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is just not loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there's nearly not sufficient down throttle - it is robust to hover clean as a result of you're a the very bottom finish of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs happy and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops in the air. Flying is clean. The quad does have two "fee" modes, low and high. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for prime charges, one other press gives one beep for low rates. In low, it moves around easily, and pace / tilt / yaw are straightforward to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still simple to regulate, however will maintain novices on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will most likely need to soar straight to the high charges. Overall, the one bad habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, as it seems to cut power often when I am descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it nearly won't hover, resulting from this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and bought a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is better. As a side be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have a great flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise fit for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The main battery plug for the quad was located in order that it was simple to solder on the digital camera power lead, so a number of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digicam was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was related. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I could fly it various short flights (the digicam already had points from it is automotive obligation days). for positive, though, I might be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I have had a lot of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My youngsters also prefer it - they will add Legos to it and construct cockpits and other stuff. The quad can raise a good quantity, however it's going to run out of energy in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't mechanically mean crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
