Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm wanting at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this evaluation, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it may stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig will not be loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there's almost not sufficient down throttle - it is powerful to hover clean as a result of you're a the very bottom end of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs comfortable and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "price" modes, low and high. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for prime charges, another press offers one beep for low charges. In low, it moves around easily, and velocity / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to control, but will preserve newcomers on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will more than likely need to jump straight to the high charges. Overall, the one bad habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, because it appears to cut power usually when I am descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it virtually won't hover, attributable to this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is healthier. As a facet note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've an incredible flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The essential battery plug for the quad was positioned so that it was easy to solder on the digicam power lead, so a number of screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the again side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died before I could fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the camera already had issues from it is car responsibility days). for sure, although, I will likely be ordering a brand new camera.
Summary
I've had a variety of enjoyable with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of power. My youngsters additionally prefer it - they'll add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can raise a good amount, however it will run out of energy in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I really favored this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
