Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I'm looking at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to experience the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this evaluation, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it may stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there's nearly not enough down throttle - it's robust to hover easy because you're a the very bottom end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs comfortable and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops in the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for top rates, another press gives one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes around smoothly, and speed / tilt / yaw are straightforward to handle. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still straightforward to regulate, however will keep inexperienced persons on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will most likely want to leap straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the only bad habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom end, as it seems to cut energy typically when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost won't hover, as a result of this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be constantly getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a aspect notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have an ideal flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The predominant battery plug for the quad was located in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digital camera power lead, so a number of screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died earlier than I might fly it various short flights (the camera already had issues from it is automobile obligation days). for certain, although, I will probably be ordering a new camera.
Summary
I have had quite a lot of enjoyable with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of power. My children additionally prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can carry an honest quantity, but it is going to run out of power in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically mean crashes - which is nice for learning to fly. Overall I really preferred this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
