Today I'm wanting at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to ride the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if that is "simply another clone" or if it may stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there is almost not sufficient down throttle - it is robust to hover clean because you're a the very bottom finish of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs comfortable and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "charge" modes, low and high. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for top charges, one other press offers one beep for low charges. In low, it moves around easily, and speed / tilt / yaw are simple to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still straightforward to manage, but will keep learners on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will almost certainly wish to bounce straight to the high charges. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it appears to chop power usually when I'm descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly will not hover, as a result of this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I was consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is best. As a facet note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have a great flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was located so that it was simple to solder on the digital camera energy lead, so a couple of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digicam was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was related. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I might fly it more than a few quick flights (the digital camera already had points from it's automotive obligation days). for positive, although, I will be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I've had a lot of fun with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of power. My youngsters additionally prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can raise a decent amount, but it'll run out of energy in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is sweet for studying to fly. Overall I actually liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
