Today I am wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the highest plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to trip the quad like a skateboard.

Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig will not be loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not enough down throttle - it's robust to hover clean as a result of you are a the very bottom end of the throttle vary. Still simple to control, however will maintain rookies on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will most probably need to jump straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the one unhealthy habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the bottom end, as it seems to chop power often when I am descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly will not hover, as a result of this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a aspect notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've a fantastic flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The fundamental battery plug for the quad was located in order that it was easy to solder on the camera energy lead, so a number of screws later, I was able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digital camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not robotically mean crashes - which is nice for studying to fly.
