Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I am looking on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to trip the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this review, and see if that is "just another clone" or if it could actually stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there's almost not enough down throttle - it is powerful to hover smooth because you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs completely satisfied and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for prime charges, another press provides one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes around smoothly, and speed / tilt / yaw are straightforward to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still easy to control, however will maintain novices on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will most definitely need to bounce straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the one bad habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it seems to cut energy often when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost will not hover, as a result of this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is better. As a aspect note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have a great flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The essential battery plug for the quad was positioned so that it was simple to solder on the camera energy lead, so a few screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the back side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digital camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was related. Unfortunately for me, my camera died before I may fly it quite a lot of short flights (the camera already had issues from it is car responsibility days). for certain, although, I will likely be ordering a new digital camera.
Summary
I've had quite a lot of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My youngsters also like it - they may add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can raise an honest quantity, however it is going to run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically imply crashes - which is nice for studying to fly. Overall I really preferred this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
