Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm trying on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the highest plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to trip the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if this is "simply one other clone" or if it might stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig shouldn't be loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not enough down throttle - it's tough to hover easy as a result of you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they've the ability! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs pleased and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "price" modes, low and high. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for high charges, one other press gives one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes around easily, and speed / tilt / yaw are simple to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still easy to control, however will keep inexperienced persons on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will almost definitely wish to leap straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the only bad habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside end, as it seems to chop power usually when I'm descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it almost won't hover, due to this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I was consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and bought a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is healthier. As a facet observe, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've got an amazing flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The foremost battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digicam power lead, so a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera power wires soldered to the again facet of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digicam was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was related. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I could fly it quite a lot of quick flights (the digital camera already had issues from it's automotive responsibility days). for positive, although, I can be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I've had a lot of enjoyable with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My kids also like it - they may add Legos to it and construct cockpits and other stuff. The quad can lift a decent quantity, however it should run out of power in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I actually liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
