Today I'm trying on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this review, and see if this is "simply another clone" or if it can stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there's almost not enough down throttle - it's tough to hover smooth because you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs completely happy and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "rate" modes, low and high. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for top rates, one other press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it moves round easily, and velocity / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to control, however will hold rookies on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will most certainly wish to leap straight to the high rates. Overall, the one bad behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, because it seems to chop power often when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost won't hover, as a consequence of this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I was consistently getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and acquired a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is best. As a aspect be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've got a terrific flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The fundamental battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was easy to solder on the camera power lead, so a couple of screws later, I was able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was similar. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died before I might fly it more than a few short flights (the digicam already had issues from it's automotive responsibility days). for positive, although, I shall be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I've had loads of fun with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of power. My youngsters also prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can elevate a good quantity, however it'll run out of energy in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely mean crashes - which is sweet for studying to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
