Today I'm trying at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the highest plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to experience the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this evaluate, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it may possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there's virtually not sufficient down throttle - it's tough to hover easy as a result of you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs pleased and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops in the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "charge" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for prime rates, another press provides one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round smoothly, and velocity / tilt / yaw are straightforward to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still simple to manage, however will keep rookies on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will most definitely wish to leap straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the one bad habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, because it seems to chop energy typically when I'm descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost won't hover, resulting from this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and obtained a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is best. As a facet notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've an incredible flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The essential battery plug for the quad was situated so that it was easy to solder on the camera energy lead, so just a few screws later, I was able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digital camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died before I may fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the digital camera already had points from it is car duty days). for sure, though, I will probably be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I have had numerous enjoyable with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My kids also prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and construct cockpits and other stuff. The quad can raise a decent amount, however it would run out of power in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not automatically mean crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I actually appreciated this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
