Today I am wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is another "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it will possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not sufficient down throttle - it is powerful to hover easy as a result of you are a the very bottom end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the facility! Loaded up, the quad remains to be very zippy, and climbs completely happy and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, low and high. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for top charges, another press gives one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round smoothly, and pace / tilt / yaw are simple to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to manage, but will hold inexperienced persons on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will almost certainly wish to bounce straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the one unhealthy habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside end, as it appears to cut power typically when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, due to this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I was consistently getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the primary 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and got a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is better. As a side notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So now we have an important flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The main battery plug for the quad was situated so that it was easy to solder on the camera energy lead, so just a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was related. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died earlier than I might fly it quite a lot of quick flights (the digicam already had issues from it is automobile responsibility days). for certain, though, I might be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I've had numerous enjoyable with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My kids additionally prefer it - they may add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can raise an honest quantity, however it is going to run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not mechanically mean crashes - which is nice for studying to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!

A little indoor acro fpv test
Thanks to NotFastEnuf for these acro settings and helping out on flashing and ofcourse Silverxxx who made this firmware and the guys from the cg023 thread......
