Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm trying on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this evaluate, and see if this is "just another clone" or if it could possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a gradual blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is not loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be virtually not enough down throttle - it's robust to hover easy because you're a the very backside end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the ability! Loaded up, the quad remains to be very zippy, and climbs completely satisfied and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is clean. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for high charges, another press provides one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round smoothly, and pace / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still straightforward to control, but will preserve newcomers on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will more than likely wish to soar straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the only dangerous behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside end, because it seems to chop power often when I am descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it virtually won't hover, due to this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half without and bought a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is healthier. As a side note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an ideal flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The important battery plug for the quad was located in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digicam energy lead, so a number of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the again side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digicam was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died before I could fly it various short flights (the digicam already had points from it is car obligation days). for sure, though, I shall be ordering a new digicam.
Summary
I've had a number of fun with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of power. My kids also prefer it - they'll add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can raise a decent quantity, but it is going to run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I actually appreciated this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
