Today I am looking at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this assessment, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it could possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be virtually not sufficient down throttle - it is tough to hover clean as a result of you are a the very backside finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the power! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs glad and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is clean. The quad does have two "price" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for prime charges, another press offers one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes round easily, and velocity / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still easy to control, however will hold learners on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will almost definitely need to bounce straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the only bad habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it appears to cut energy often when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly will not hover, attributable to this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and acquired a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is better. As a side word, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've got an amazing flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The most important battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was simple to solder on the digicam power lead, so a few screws later, I was able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was related. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died before I might fly it more than a few quick flights (the digicam already had issues from it's car obligation days). for positive, although, I shall be ordering a new camera.
Summary
I have had numerous enjoyable with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My youngsters also prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can elevate a decent quantity, but it will run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
