Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I am trying at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to trip the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this review, and see if that is "simply another clone" or if it can stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a gradual blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is just not loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there is nearly not enough down throttle - it's robust to hover smooth as a result of you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs blissful and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for top rates, one other press provides one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round easily, and velocity / tilt / yaw are easy to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still simple to control, but will preserve newbies on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will more than likely want to bounce straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, because it seems to cut power usually when I am descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly will not hover, resulting from this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the primary 3-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and bought a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is better. As a facet note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an incredible flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was located so that it was simple to solder on the digital camera power lead, so a couple of screws later, I used to be able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digicam was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I could fly it various short flights (the camera already had issues from it's automobile duty days). for certain, although, I shall be ordering a new digicam.
Summary
I've had a lot of enjoyable with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of power. My youngsters additionally prefer it - they may add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can elevate an honest quantity, however it can run out of energy in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not mechanically mean crashes - which is nice for studying to fly. Overall I actually liked this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
