Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I am trying at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to experience the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it could possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is not loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there is almost not enough down throttle - it is robust to hover easy because you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs pleased and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, low and high. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for prime charges, another press gives one beep for low rates. In low, it moves round smoothly, and speed / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still easy to manage, but will preserve newbies on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will most definitely need to leap straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only bad behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside end, as it seems to cut power usually when I am descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost won't hover, attributable to this.

Battery life
Battery life is nice. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is healthier. As a facet notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've got a great flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The essential battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digicam power lead, so just a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the back side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digital camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I might fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the digital camera already had points from it's car responsibility days). for certain, though, I will likely be ordering a new camera.
Summary
I've had quite a lot of enjoyable with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My children also prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can carry a good amount, but it should run out of energy in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I actually preferred this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
