Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I am trying on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to ride the quad like a skateboard. Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this review, and see if this is "just another clone" or if it may well stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig shouldn't be loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not sufficient down throttle - it is powerful to hover easy as a result of you're a the very backside end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the ability! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs glad and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "charge" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for top rates, another press gives one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes around smoothly, and pace / tilt / yaw are easy to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still easy to regulate, but will preserve learners on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will more than likely wish to soar straight to the high charges. Overall, the only bad behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, because it seems to cut power often when I am descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, resulting from this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and acquired a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is best. As a side note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have an incredible flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual fit for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The most important battery plug for the quad was located in order that it was easy to solder on the camera energy lead, so a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the again side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digicam was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died before I could fly it more than a few short flights (the camera already had issues from it is automotive obligation days). for sure, though, I will probably be ordering a brand new digital camera.
Summary
I have had a number of fun with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My kids additionally prefer it - they may add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can elevate an honest quantity, however it would run out of energy in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
