Today I am looking on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Flying

Experienced pilots will most definitely want to jump straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the one dangerous habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside end, because it appears to chop energy typically when I am descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly will not hover, attributable to this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and acquired a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is best. As a side be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an awesome flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual fit for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The principal battery plug for the quad was located so that it was straightforward to solder on the camera energy lead, so a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I might fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the camera already had points from it's automotive obligation days). for certain, though, I will likely be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I've had plenty of enjoyable with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of power. My youngsters additionally prefer it - they will add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can carry a good quantity, but it is going to run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't mechanically mean crashes - which is good for learning to fly. Overall I actually liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
