Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I am wanting at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is another "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it may stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be virtually not enough down throttle - it is powerful to hover clean as a result of you are a the very backside end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs joyful and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for high rates, another press offers one beep for low charges. In low, it moves round easily, and speed / tilt / yaw are easy to handle. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to control, but will hold novices on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will most probably want to soar straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the one dangerous habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, because it seems to chop energy usually when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost will not hover, as a consequence of this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half without and bought a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is better. As a facet observe, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have an important flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was situated in order that it was straightforward to solder on the camera power lead, so just a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digital camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my camera died before I could fly it quite a lot of brief flights (the camera already had issues from it is car responsibility days). for certain, though, I will probably be ordering a brand new camera.
Summary
I have had numerous fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of power. My kids also prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can carry a decent quantity, however it should run out of power in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not automatically imply crashes - which is nice for studying to fly. Overall I actually liked this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
