Today I'm trying at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there's nearly not sufficient down throttle - it is powerful to hover smooth because you're a the very backside finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs completely satisfied and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, low and high. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for prime charges, one other press gives one beep for low charges. In low, it moves round easily, and velocity / tilt / yaw are straightforward to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still straightforward to regulate, but will keep inexperienced persons on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will most probably need to jump straight to the high rates. Overall, the one unhealthy habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it appears to chop energy often when I am descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it virtually won't hover, attributable to this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and bought a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a facet note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an ideal flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was situated so that it was easy to solder on the digital camera energy lead, so a couple of screws later, I was able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I may fly it various quick flights (the digicam already had issues from it's automobile responsibility days). for sure, although, I can be ordering a new digital camera.
Summary
I have had a lot of fun with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My kids additionally like it - they'll add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not routinely imply crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly.
