Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I am wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this evaluate, and see if this is "just another clone" or if it will probably stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there's almost not enough down throttle - it's tough to hover smooth because you're a the very backside finish of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs blissful and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for prime charges, another press gives one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round easily, and pace / tilt / yaw are simple to handle. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still straightforward to regulate, however will maintain inexperienced persons on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will most definitely want to leap straight to the high charges. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, because it appears to cut energy often when I'm descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, resulting from this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and received a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is best. As a aspect be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So now we have an excellent flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was situated in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digital camera energy lead, so a couple of screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I could fly it various quick flights (the camera already had points from it's automotive obligation days). for positive, though, I shall be ordering a brand new digital camera.
Summary
I have had plenty of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of power. My kids additionally like it - they'll add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can lift an honest quantity, however it would run out of power in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't automatically imply crashes - which is nice for studying to fly. Overall I actually favored this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
