Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm looking on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the top plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to trip the quad like a skateboard. Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it could possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is just not loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there is almost not sufficient down throttle - it's robust to hover smooth because you're a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the facility! Loaded up, the quad remains to be very zippy, and climbs completely happy and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for prime charges, one other press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it moves around smoothly, and pace / tilt / yaw are easy to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still straightforward to manage, but will hold inexperienced persons on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will probably want to leap straight to the high rates. Overall, the one unhealthy habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, because it appears to cut energy often when I am descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it virtually won't hover, attributable to this.

Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the primary 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and got a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is better. As a side be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now an ideal flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The essential battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was straightforward to solder on the camera power lead, so a number of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the again facet of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was related. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died before I may fly it more than a few short flights (the digicam already had points from it's car duty days). for sure, though, I shall be ordering a brand new camera.
Summary
I've had a lot of fun with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My youngsters also like it - they will add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can raise a decent quantity, however it would run out of energy in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not robotically imply crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I really appreciated this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
