Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I am looking on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to experience the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this review, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it will probably stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be almost not enough down throttle - it is robust to hover easy as a result of you are a the very backside end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they've the ability! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs comfortable and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "rate" modes, low and high. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for prime charges, one other press provides one beep for low rates. In low, it moves around smoothly, and pace / tilt / yaw are straightforward to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still easy to control, but will preserve rookies on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will most likely want to bounce straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom end, because it appears to cut energy usually when I am descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly won't hover, due to this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and acquired a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is healthier. As a aspect observe, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have an awesome flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was located in order that it was simple to solder on the camera power lead, so a couple of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I could fly it more than a few quick flights (the digicam already had points from it is automotive responsibility days). for positive, though, I can be ordering a new digital camera.
Summary
I have had a whole lot of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of power. My children additionally prefer it - they are going to add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can lift a good amount, however it would run out of power in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
