Today I'm wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is another "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to trip the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this review, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it might stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there is nearly not enough down throttle - it is robust to hover smooth as a result of you are a the very backside end of the throttle range. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs comfortable and shortly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "rate" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for high charges, another press provides one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes around easily, and pace / tilt / yaw are straightforward to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still easy to regulate, but will keep freshmen on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will almost certainly wish to jump straight to the high rates. Overall, the one dangerous behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it appears to chop energy typically when I am descending. And, as mentioned earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost will not hover, resulting from this.
Battery life
Battery life is nice. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the first Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and bought a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is best. As a aspect word, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have a great flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The most important battery plug for the quad was positioned so that it was simple to solder on the camera energy lead, so a number of screws later, I used to be able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digicam was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I could fly it various brief flights (the digicam already had issues from it is automobile duty days). for certain, though, I might be ordering a new digicam.
Summary
I have had numerous enjoyable with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My youngsters additionally prefer it - they may add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can lift a decent amount, however it would run out of energy in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not automatically mean crashes - which is nice for studying to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
