Today I am wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline function that makes it stand out it the top plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to trip the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this review, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it may well stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a gradual blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is just not loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there is almost not sufficient down throttle - it's powerful to hover smooth as a result of you're a the very backside finish of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs comfortable and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is easy. The quad does have two "price" modes, high and low. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for high charges, another press provides one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes around smoothly, and velocity / tilt / yaw are straightforward to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still straightforward to regulate, but will keep freshmen on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will probably need to soar straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only bad habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it seems to chop energy usually when I'm descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it nearly won't hover, as a consequence of this.
Battery life
Battery life is nice. I was constantly getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and acquired a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is best. As a aspect note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have now a terrific flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The important battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digicam power lead, so a few screws later, I used to be able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digital camera was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I may fly it various short flights (the digital camera already had issues from it is car duty days). for sure, though, I shall be ordering a new digicam.
Summary
I have had a lot of fun with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My kids additionally prefer it - they'll add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can raise a good quantity, however it would run out of power in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not mechanically mean crashes - which is sweet for learning to fly. Overall I really favored this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
