Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I am wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to trip the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if this is "just another clone" or if it may possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a gradual blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig will not be loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there is virtually not enough down throttle - it's tough to hover clean as a result of you're a the very backside finish of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they have the facility! Loaded up, the quad remains to be very zippy, and climbs joyful and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "price" modes, low and high. the small button below the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for high charges, another press offers one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes round easily, and pace / tilt / yaw are easy to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still simple to manage, but will keep novices on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will most likely need to jump straight to the high rates. Overall, the only bad behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, as it seems to chop energy often when I'm descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it almost won't hover, attributable to this.
Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be constantly getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and acquired a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is best. As a aspect be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've got a terrific flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an actual match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The most important battery plug for the quad was located so that it was simple to solder on the camera power lead, so a few screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digicam was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died before I could fly it various quick flights (the camera already had points from it is car duty days). for certain, although, I will probably be ordering a brand new camera.
Summary
I have had numerous enjoyable with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My children also like it - they are going to add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can elevate a decent quantity, however it'll run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I actually liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
