Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I'm wanting at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the top plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to journey the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this review, and see if that is "simply one other clone" or if it may possibly stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be almost not enough down throttle - it's robust to hover clean because you are a the very backside finish of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs comfortable and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops in the air. Flying is clean. The quad does have two "price" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for prime charges, one other press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round easily, and pace / tilt / yaw are straightforward to handle. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still straightforward to regulate, but will maintain inexperienced persons on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will almost certainly want to bounce straight to the high charges. Overall, the only dangerous behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low range. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside finish, because it seems to chop energy typically when I am descending. And, as talked about earlier than - flying unloaded, it almost will not hover, as a result of this.
Battery life
Battery life is nice. I was consistently getting 6 minutes with the stock battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half without and received a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is best. As a facet word, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we have an awesome flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise fit for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was located so that it was simple to solder on the digital camera power lead, so a couple of screws later, I was able to fly FPV!

The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I might fly it quite a lot of quick flights (the digital camera already had issues from it is automobile obligation days). for positive, though, I will probably be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I have had a number of enjoyable with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My kids also like it - they will add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can carry a decent quantity, however it is going to run out of energy in a few dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't robotically mean crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I really liked this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
