Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the top plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to experience the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this review, and see if that is "simply another clone" or if it may well stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give steady on once it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there may be virtually not sufficient down throttle - it's robust to hover clean as a result of you are a the very bottom end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they've the ability! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs blissful and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops in the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, low and high. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for prime charges, one other press gives one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes around smoothly, and velocity / tilt / yaw are straightforward to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to control, however will maintain freshmen on their toes as it zips round. Experienced pilots will most certainly need to soar straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I found with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the bottom end, because it appears to cut energy often when I'm descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it nearly won't hover, resulting from this.

Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and obtained a strong 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the inventory battery is best. As a aspect note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have an awesome flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automotive, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The principal battery plug for the quad was positioned in order that it was easy to solder on the camera power lead, so a number of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the again side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying efficiency was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I might fly it more than a few brief flights (the digital camera already had points from it is automotive responsibility days). for certain, though, I will likely be ordering a new digital camera.
Summary
I have had quite a lot of enjoyable with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My children also prefer it - they may add Legos to it and construct cockpits and other stuff. The quad can lift a good amount, but it will run out of energy in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not automatically mean crashes - which is sweet for studying to fly. Overall I actually appreciated this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
