Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to journey the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if this is "just one other clone" or if it could actually stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a gradual blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig will not be loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the additional weight of the mini-figure, there is almost not enough down throttle - it is robust to hover easy as a result of you are a the very bottom end of the throttle range. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the ability! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs comfortable and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is clean. The quad does have two "charge" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for high charges, one other press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it moves around easily, and speed / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to regulate, however will keep novices on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will more than likely wish to bounce straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the only bad habit I found with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, as it seems to chop energy usually when I'm descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, resulting from this.

Battery life
Battery life is sweet. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half without and obtained a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I like the stock battery, no complaints. I did additionally fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a facet be aware, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So now we have an awesome flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise fit for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The important battery plug for the quad was situated so that it was easy to solder on the camera power lead, so a couple of screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera power wires soldered to the back aspect of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was similar. Unfortunately for me, my digital camera died earlier than I could fly it various brief flights (the digital camera already had points from it is automobile duty days). for sure, though, I will probably be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I have had a number of enjoyable with this quad. It is an effective flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of energy. My children additionally prefer it - they will add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can lift an honest quantity, but it'll run out of power in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely mean crashes - which is good for studying to fly. Overall I actually favored this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!

This toy drone should make for a nice cheap stocking stuffer
You should be able to get rid of the speaker later without too much trouble and turn this into a nice FPV flyer..
