Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the highest plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to experience the quad like a skateboard. Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this overview, and see if this is "just another clone" or if it might probably stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a fast blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig shouldn't be loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be virtually not sufficient down throttle - it's powerful to hover smooth because you are a the very backside end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or other cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs joyful and quickly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "rate" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press provides a double beep for prime rates, one other press provides one beep for low rates. In low, it strikes round smoothly, and speed / tilt / yaw are simple to handle. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still simple to regulate, but will keep rookies on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will almost definitely need to jump straight to the high rates. Overall, the only unhealthy behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside end, because it appears to chop power often when I'm descending. And, as mentioned before - flying unloaded, it nearly won't hover, due to this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-4 minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half with out and received a solid 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the inventory battery is best. As a side note, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've got an important flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digicam that I had used to FPV a small RC car, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was a precise match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The main battery plug for the quad was located so that it was simple to solder on the digital camera power lead, so just a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the again side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was comparable. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died earlier than I could fly it more than a few short flights (the digicam already had issues from it's car responsibility days). for certain, although, I will probably be ordering a brand new digital camera.
Summary
I've had plenty of enjoyable with this quad. It is a good flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My youngsters also like it - they may add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can raise an honest quantity, however it'll run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not routinely mean crashes - which is sweet for studying to fly. Overall I really appreciated this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
