Review Eachine E011 Mini

Today I'm wanting on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is another "Inductrix Clone". The headline characteristic that makes it stand out it the highest plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to experience the quad like a skateboard. 
Fun, right? Well, let's get into this evaluate, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it might probably stand out...
Flying
Plug within the battery, and the quad LED's give a slow blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on as soon as it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig is just not loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not enough down throttle - it is powerful to hover clean as a result of you are a the very bottom end of the throttle vary. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad remains to be very zippy, and climbs happy and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with good hops within the air. Flying is clean. The quad does have two "rate" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for high charges, another press provides one beep for low charges. In low, it strikes round smoothly, and speed / tilt / yaw are straightforward to handle. In High, it get a bit more spirited. Still easy to regulate, however will keep newcomers on their toes because it zips round. Experienced pilots will most certainly need to soar straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only unhealthy habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low range. I wish it was a bit smoother on the bottom finish, as it appears to cut energy typically when I'm descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it virtually will not hover, resulting from this.
Battery life
Battery life is good. I used to be consistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the first 3-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half without and received a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the inventory battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, however the stock battery is healthier. As a facet word, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we've an ideal flying quad, with good battery life, and energy to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV digital camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The predominant battery plug for the quad was located so that it was easy to solder on the camera energy lead, so just a few screws later, I was ready to fly FPV!

The EF-01 digicam was very close in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died earlier than I might fly it various quick flights (the digicam already had issues from it is automotive responsibility days). for certain, although, I shall be ordering a new digital camera.
Summary
I've had a lot of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My children also like it - they are going to add Legos to it and build cockpits and other stuff. The quad can lift a good quantity, however it is going to run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it easily bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps don't routinely imply crashes - which is nice for learning to fly. Overall I really favored this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
