Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I'm looking on the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that's another "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the top plate has constructing block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that will get to trip the quad like a skateboard. Fun, proper? Well, let's get into this assessment, and see if that is "just one other clone" or if it could actually stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the distant, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give regular on once it is ready to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig just isn't loaded, the quad will virtually leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there is nearly not sufficient down throttle - it is powerful to hover easy as a result of you're a the very backside finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember those 716 motors? yea, they have the power! Loaded up, the quad continues to be very zippy, and climbs completely happy and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "fee" modes, high and low. the small button under the throttle switches modes - one press gives a double beep for top charges, one other press gives one beep for low rates. In low, it moves round easily, and speed / tilt / yaw are straightforward to handle. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still easy to regulate, but will maintain novices on their toes as it zips around. Experienced pilots will most definitely want to soar straight to the excessive rates. Overall, the one dangerous habit I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I wish it was a bit smoother on the underside end, as it appears to chop power often when I'm descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it virtually won't hover, on account of this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I was persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the last half with out and received a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I bought for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are solely flying for five minutes, with a noticeable decrease in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is best. As a aspect observe, Banggood sells a 5-pack of those batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So we now have an excellent flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 came with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the top of the quad. The major battery plug for the quad was situated so that it was straightforward to solder on the digital camera power lead, so just a few screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!
Camera energy wires soldered to the back facet of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 digital camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was similar. Unfortunately for me, my camera died before I might fly it quite a lot of quick flights (the digicam already had issues from it is car duty days). for sure, though, I might be ordering a brand new digicam.
Summary
I've had a variety of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has loads of power. My children additionally like it - they'll add Legos to it and build cockpits and different stuff. The quad can lift an honest quantity, but it's going to run out of power in a couple of dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not routinely imply crashes - which is good for learning to fly. Overall I really preferred this quad, and provides it two thumbs up!
