Review Eachine E011 Mini
Banggood.com
Today I am looking at the Eachine E011 "Block Drone". This is a small quad that is one other "Inductrix Clone". The headline feature that makes it stand out it the highest plate has building block / Lego attachments! Also, it comes with a lego-ish mini-figure, that gets to experience the quad like a skateboard. Fun, right? Well, let's get into this assessment, and see if that is "just another clone" or if it might stand out...
Flying
Plug in the battery, and the quad LED's give a sluggish blink. Switch on the remote, and the quad LED's go to a quick blink as they bind, then give steady on as soon as it is able to fly. Give the quad a blip of throttle, and if the mini-fig will not be loaded, the quad will practically leap into the air. Without the extra weight of the mini-figure, there may be nearly not sufficient down throttle - it is robust to hover smooth because you are a the very bottom finish of the throttle range. Add the little man, or different cargo, and it smooths out. Remember these 716 motors? yea, they've the facility! Loaded up, the quad is still very zippy, and climbs joyful and rapidly. Throttle blips are rewarded with nice hops within the air. Flying is smooth. The quad does have two "rate" modes, high and low. the small button beneath the throttle switches modes - one press offers a double beep for prime rates, another press offers one beep for low rates. In low, it moves round easily, and velocity / tilt / yaw are easy to manage. In High, it get a bit extra spirited. Still straightforward to control, but will hold newbies on their toes because it zips around. Experienced pilots will more than likely wish to bounce straight to the excessive charges. Overall, the only bad behavior I discovered with the quad is with the throttle low vary. I want it was a bit smoother on the underside end, as it seems to cut energy typically when I am descending. And, as talked about before - flying unloaded, it nearly will not hover, as a consequence of this.

Battery life
Battery life is good. I was persistently getting 6 minutes with the inventory battery. One flight, I ran the primary Three-Four minutes with the mini-figure, then the final half without and obtained a stable 7 minutes flight. Overall, I just like the stock battery, no complaints. I did also fly the quad with some Amazon batteries I purchased for my Syma X11. These are 380mah packs, with no printed C-rating. They are only flying for 5 minutes, with a noticeable lower in punch. They do fly the quad good, but the stock battery is healthier. As a aspect notice, Banggood sells a 5-pack of these batteries, with a multi-pack charger, for about $16.
Mods
So now we have a fantastic flying quad, with good battery life, and power to spare, what to do? How about FPV! I had a EF-01 FPV camera that I had used to FPV a small RC automobile, so I pulled it for the E011. The EF-01 got here with a mounting plate that, as luck would have it, was an exact match for some unused mounting holes on the highest of the quad. The primary battery plug for the quad was situated in order that it was straightforward to solder on the digital camera power lead, so a few screws later, I used to be ready to fly FPV!
Camera power wires soldered to the again side of the quad's battery plug
The EF-01 camera was very shut in weight to the mini-figure, so flying performance was related. Unfortunately for me, my digicam died before I could fly it more than a few quick flights (the camera already had points from it's car obligation days). for positive, although, I might be ordering a new digicam.
Summary
I've had a whole lot of fun with this quad. It is an efficient flyer, has good battery life, and has plenty of energy. My children additionally like it - they will add Legos to it and construct cockpits and different stuff. The quad can elevate a decent amount, but it can run out of power in about a dozen small blocks. With the ducted props, it simply bounces off of stuff when flying, so small bumps do not robotically imply crashes - which is nice for learning to fly. Overall I actually favored this quad, and give it two thumbs up!
